WFTDA.tv Remote Studio On-Air Talent
The WFTDA.tv Remote Studio makes it possible for roller derby leagues all over the world to live stream their events to WFTDA’s streaming audience with minimal production required of the host league, while our broadcast partner, Quad Media, provides remote support such as a scoreboard overlay and live commentators. As WFTDA.tv remote on-air talent, you can provide commentary for roller derby events all over the world from the comfort of your own home, through a web conference you can connect to from any device with a camera and internet connection. See our Remote Studio playlist on YouTube or previous Twitch.tv broadcasts to see how it works.
Anyone interested in commentating on our remote broadcasts is invited to fill out the Remote Studio Announcer Sign-Up Form and tell about yourself and your experience announcing roller derby, even if you’re a beginner or wanting to get started. We’re interested in hearing from announcers as well as skaters, officials, or anyone else who knows roller derby and has a desire to help us broadcast our sport to our global audience. You can learn more about providing live remote commentary in Quad Media’s Remote Commentator Guide.
