WFTDA.tv to Produce Pay-Per-View Video Stream of 2017 JRDA Championships

WFTDA.tv is excited to announce an agreement with Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) to produce the broadcast of the youth sports organization’s 2017 Championships event and stream live on WFTDA.tv. The 2017 JRDA Championships will take place in Loveland, Colorado,  July 14-16, 2017, and will feature two exciting brackets of competition on two tracks–the Female Division and the Open Division (which includes all genders.) The ten top-ranked teams in both divisions will compete for the title over three days of dynamic, nonstop roller derby action, and streamed live on WFTDA.tv.

“The JRDA is excited for this opportunity for our members to showcase their skills in front of the WFTDA.tv audience,” said President of JRDA, Renee Miller. “These athletes represent the hard work of our junior members and their coaches, truly the future of our sport.”

After partnering in the release of the latest version of rules for the sport of roller derby in 2017, the WFTDA is excited to continue finding ways to collaborate with JRDA. The agreement creates a high-quality streaming broadcast production in conjunction with WFTDA production partner Blaze Streaming Media that matches the energy and vitality of young skaters in JRDA competition.

“JRDA plays such an important role in the development of future WFTDA leagues and skaters,” says Erica Vanstone, aka Double H, Chief Media Officer for the WFTDA. “As a mother whose child participates in a JRDA program, I see the growth of these young athletes every week, and I can’t wait to share that tenacity with WFTDA.tv viewers!”

Roller derby fans will be able to see these games via pay-per-view on WFTDA.tv starting Friday, July 14, through July 16, 2017. Watch passes for the 2017 JRDA Championships are now available, and will showcase both the Female Division and Open Division brackets for just $20 USD for the entire weekend.
